ET Headrests

Hi all,

Having removed my ET's for dying I notice that there is some kind of sprung mechanism inside them.

My question is what's it for and what does it do.... And how does it do it???

They slide forward and back.

Do you have a button or a hole in the side?

Chrome round knob thing, a little like a large coin.

Press the round chrome button and you can slide the headrest forwards or backwards. I'd had my E.Ts for a couple of years before somebody pointed that out to me!

Press the round chrome button and you can slide the headrest forwards or backwards. I'd had my E.Ts for a couple of years before somebody pointed that out to me!

Or

Press large button and you can slide the headrest backwards, then you can pull it forwards to touch the back of your head without pressing the button.
