here s one for you , i sold a car on ebay the guy came paid the money after a heated exchange of words,then sends me a message saying if i dont send £50 to him he will leave me neg feedback,and as the seller you cant leave neg feedback, but ebay have said that they will remove his feedback if he does, so thats me done with ebay.not ebays fault but theres to many people like that using ebay shame really

Well he picked her up last night, paid cash on the nail & left me good feedback 8) & I got a nice email to say it got home safely & he was pleased with it, well who wouldn't be?

As you say who wouldn't be pleased with that. Clean engine bay too.

Those B200E engines go on forever and are dead easy to work on. Sub 2 hours for a cambelt change including packing the tools away!

I got 200,000 out of my 740 before I sold it and the fellow was well chuffed with it too.

Have you lined up another Volvo to replace it?
 
I've got a lovely 940 Turbo Estate 8) which I've had for about 6 years but has been standing for ages while I've been using the 240 :roll: I'm just waiting for an insurance cert & I can get her taxed & back on the road

Ive just done a VERY! good deal with him for the set of door seal rubbers!! :wink:
I know they are not originals,but Scotts old rubber currently want about £60 for a full set,so £12.50 inc p/p is fine by me!! :D
I also told him about the advert!

I sent a very polite note to this guy yesterday. I said:
I am sorry to say this, but there is no way you're going to get £650 for this. You'll be lucky to get £100. you are not even offering the full glove box pair, 4 x door cards, and your headrests are teardrop and not the desirable ET type headrests. Please, I urge you to do more research as you are wasting your time and your eBay listing fees.

I am sending you this note because I can't believe what you are asking, and I know what has been presented on eBay before, you must be much more realistic.

What did he do? Replied thanking me, then changes the title to include headrests and INCREASES the price by £50 to £699.

I don't think this guy is English, nor does he understand a word of English.

When I wanted a full leather interior for my car,I rang all the P6 sellers I could find and had prices from £100 for just the seats,to a pie in the sky £400 for a complete interior!!!
I finally found my current bronze leather flat pleat seats and complete set of int panels for £80 from a low miles car being broken in Somerset.
It was advertised in the spares section of practical classics!
What is it they say!
Search and ye shall find!
