Black & White?

Hallo u guys,
Been thinking for a while now about re-painting my car in a different colour. It`s originally `baccy leaf, and has a habit of fading in any amount of sunny weather, I actually like the colour although it`s not most members` favourite! Anyway been considering Black, even Black with a White roof. Anyone got any good pics of either to give me a `visual`? Much appreciated opinions also folks..............

Do you actually mean 'Gattaca', I've been meaning to watch that for ages!
 
Only paint it black if you enjoy constant cleaning ! :D

Plus if you ever get a dent you can spot it a mile away :(
 
Go on, somene use photoshop to put on a white roof.

I saw a Citroen DS the other day in black with a white painted roof, looked quite nice, very Sixties.
 
Hmmm, not got the knack of this yet obviously: How do I get the image into the body of my post? (Chorus of "Doh!")
 
Cheers for that geezers or geezeretes, I still think I`ll do it but may take a bit of time, may be ready by middle of the year, thing is I want to use it at the same time....and I`m planning on doing it myself. Mines a series 1 so might look a lot fatter without the centre trim...not 100% about the white quarter panels though, looks a bit too flash for my taste. :p

Go on Drew,, get the dulux and roller out :D do it a panel at a time when the suns out.
As you know I have a spare set of panels,so if you want to do it one by one you could bolt on one or two of my spares while you carefully paint yours off the car :p
 
You could copy mines it has a a white roof...... . blue wings , blue doors and a nice rust encapsulater red stripe along my rusted water channel :D these are the good bits .just wait till i get thoses pictures up then no doubt directions to my nearest scrappy will be getting pm'd to me :D
 
Apart from rear o/riders look on wrong sides,front wing badge below steel trim, A stag door mirror,??? ???
 
The overriders do look a bit odd, and the mirror could be non Rover but not really the ones I saw. One was the badge below the moulding, it just LOOKS so wrong, but there is another.
