The Traditional car Club of Doncaster had a car show at Elsecar yesterday, so I just had to go as it is about 2 miles away 8)
Only two rovers there - Sparky parked on a slope
And a nice P5 3 Litre. Had a good old chat with the couple in here, who also have a classic caravan they tow around with it.
Some real vintage stuff including the 'Stanley'
A cracking little Singer Gazelle
And MG - in perfect condition
A whole bunch of proper minis
This - ermm Aston? Lagonda?
A lovely little Austin Seven
And some bycicles - with engines :?:
I learned some new stuff about P6s
My engine wasn't bored out to 4L. As the original Buick was a 4L but Rover sleeved it. So my engine had just had the sleeves removed
And 4 pot P6s were fitted with rear drum brakes, it was only the V8s with rear discs
(smile and nod )
Great day though, had a lot of fun.
