Attempted theft! North Sheffield.

Hello everyone, Just a polite word of warning. last night my garage was broken into in the early hours. . Where Rosie the rover lives. P6.2000sc TRR891L.
Fortunately for me my neighbour has a very large and vocal dog, which disturbed the pond life who successfully bolt cropped the lock.
But when the doors are moved they are very noisey. Apparently on reporting to the police, there is a group going round in the North Sheffield
targeting garage plots. I do know that there is a few of us in the north Sheffield that have P6's not to mention other classic cars. Thankyou.
Keeping the old girl going. Sincerely Moon Rover! PS Nothing was taken.

There was a gang doing the rounds in Hoyland a month or so ago. (For anyone who doesn't know, this is just north of Sheffield).

There are 14 houses in our close, 5 of them had things stolen from cars on the drives. The Police jumped into action and sent us a leaflet explaining that there were cars thieves about, but they did bog all else. Until a householder in the next road disturbed someone trying to break into his range rover. The thief hit him with a torch, and killed him. The police were then all over Hoyland like a rash, and did arrest someone for it.

I do wonder if things would have been different, if they had bothered to actually catch the thieves when they first started.

When my garage was broken into a few years ago, the police managed to get fingerprints and DNA, but after 10 weeks they were still telling me that they had not got the results back from the lab. I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was put through to an aggressive man who told me that hey had received results, but the were inconclusive and they were not going to follow the case up any further. Amazing they had got the results between me phoning, and me getting put through to Mr grumpy
