Aerial

What is it with some of our society's "citizens"? Went out yesterday morning for a tinker on the drive and...the aerial's gone!

I know where I'd have inserted it (or maybe something a little larger) if I'd seen them...

Anyway, does anyone by chance have a spare aerial complete with the base mount they'd consider selling?

Thanks,

Stan

Bit of bad news here - the roof aerial is now no longer available new (in the last two or three months). It's possible you may find a supplier with old stock, but I've tried and failed!

Try Ianp6man at rover classics.
He has close to original replica's listed for £20 each, also may have an original s/h one as well!

For reference, Ian no longer has these aerials for sale. and no 2nd hand ones either.

Oh well...ebay it is maybe....

Was it the right Aerial?
I am asking because my car is now waterproof apart from the big hole in the top were an aerial should be :) An I want to get my new interior in it :D

Can't say whether it suits or not I'm afraid...I managed to pick up a N.O.S. Antiference one from ebay for £15. Just the job! :D

I did the next best thing to get an aerial..... I went to a scrap yard..... admittedly it was a Jag scrap yard.

It had 3 P6's in it, all under other cars, they all looked very sorry for themselves..... one looked like it had been in a very bad accident, as you couldn't tell it was a P6 until you saw the front, and even then it was debatable!!! Had a nice aerial on it, apart from the fact that there was a 2tonn Jag sat on its roof, which kinda stopped me from getting at it, I was about to give up when we came across this little brown thing in the back right corner, which had an aerial, damaged but still usable..... so took it off the car, with the help of some friends (i.e. them lifting the car on the roof off slightly so we could release it!) and bingo I now have a aerial, and it cost me a massive amount of £1....... BARGAIN! :D

Me is a happy little girly now, I was thinking I was never going to get one for the roof, and I was going to have to try and get a wing mounted one.
