Afternoon all, thought I'd bung up a few smudges of my recent purchase.... it doesn't half feel good to be behind the wheel of a Solihull Wafter again
She drives beautifully, much better than my last V8 Auto, has power steering and feels very 'together' on the road with plenty of grunt on tap. In fact it feels like a completely different car to my last one! Bodywork is good, not perfect, there's some very light overspray in a few places but nowt I can't sort through, needs a pair of '3500' badges for the front wings too. The interior is fantastic, I know all black isn't everyone's cup of tea but I rather like it, it also has a complete set of headrests and blow me the clock works as well. I'm undecided about the Mountney steering wheel although it does feel good to use. Picked it up last Monday and driven it every day since... even the missus likes it (sort of) which threw me a bit!
Could do with overiders at the back, but I'm not sure if they would go on with this particular tow bar fitted as just below the bumper is a 'square tubular' bar.... is this normal?
Cheers, Nidge
