1972 P6 2000 carburetor

I have an AUC 8490 (2140 PDC7A) carb that I wish to service, is this an original carb for 1972 2000? I cannot seem to get any response from sources for this numbered carb
I wish to purchase the service kit so any for sale anywhere???

Burlen Fuel Services doesn't list that number. I assume it is an HS6, with the float chamber at the side. I would imagine that provided you use the correct jet, needle and spring when you overhaul it, it will be ok. According to Burlen, the correct carb is an AUD 475 with .100" jet, BAF needle and a green spring.
 
thanks for the info, it looks as though a previous owner has fitted this carb, will get onto Burten to see if they can help
