Post a photo of the mirror you're looking for. NADA cars used at least two different door mirrors (I've had both), unless you don't care whether they match....

The dipstick/filler tube threads into the boss where the breather attaches & replaces the breather tube. This involves swinging some rather large wrenches in a rather confined space. The "nut" on the bottom of the filler tube is ~1 1/16 IIRC. The nut on the base that you have to hold against...
The US cars (at least the early ones) did not have a dipstick/filler - only a sight glass thing under the car.
You were supposed to put the car up on a lift with the car in park & the engine running. The cover on the filler has a bayonet type fitting. You have to push it down and rotate it to...
I believe that there was a retro fit kit available. One of my NADA cars had been converted from AED to a manual choke. All it took was a choke cable & some relatively simple linkage to pull the jets down to enrich the mixture. Unfortunately, I sold that car about 6 years ago (should have...
Thanks Chris
I have a copy of the original "Rover" version of the repair manual as well as a copy of the "British Leyland" version (much prefer the Rover version). I also have an early 2000TC parts catalog, but don't have one for my P6B. Have to pick one up. Ian Wilson's site is a wealth of...
Pilkie:
I have a set of the 14" Rostyles as well. They were optioned on one of my 2000TCs and I keep them for the 3500. Do you know whether they are 5" or 5.5" width?
Since they were optional, I had hoped that they might be wider than standard.

I'm planning on converting my NADA P6B to a 5 speed (probably using a BW T-5). Having owned a couple of manual 2000TCs, I really hate the Type 35 slushbox. It seems to suck all the life out of these cars!
It looks to me like the main roadblock to the conversion may be the clutch master...
Demetris:
The adjustment is done with the shocks off the car. The adjustment valve is in the bottom of the shock & is engaged with the shock fully compressed.
Here are the adjustment instructions from Koni: (clarified where possible :D )

If - after many thousands of miles of use...
Thanks Chris
I had some "calendar quality" shots of the Franklin, but lost them when my external hard drive died last week. Here are a couple of links to photo's of my car from the Franklin site. Not the best quality, but you get the idea. Excuse my posture in the 2nd shot, didn't know I was...
So, how did I get here?
My first P6 was a Arden Green '69 2000TC that I acquired from my Father in ~'76. I was a student in California & the car was in Pennsylvania (~3,000 miles away). I learned that the car had been retired to the barn due to some sort of problem. Since I'd always liked...
