Hi all i have a 2000 P6 with standard 165-80-14 tyres. I have read somewhere on here putting on 185-70-14 is a good move for looks and handling, the slightly wider tyre compensates the 80 to 70 difference. Have any of you done it? I have no power steering and wondered how heavier if any it makes...

Spoken with Wadhams today and they confirmed my gasket sent to me (same as in these pictures) is correct for the 2000cc but have not come across one not fitting over the locating dowl. The full composite gasket I took off is for the 2200 only so maybe someone fitted the wrong one in the first...

That looks the same as what i have been sent so is that gasket correct for my car?

I purchased a head set for my 1973 2000 sc and the gasket sent to me is metal both sides with what looks like composite centre. My car according to Wadhams website should be a composite as opposed to all metal. Unfortunately the gasket wont go over a location dowl on the front timing chain area...

I will be putting my cylinder head back on soon on my 1973 2000 SC and the timing chain tensioner is puzzling me despite reading the books on how to set it, any tips please? Also do you use any sealant on the head gasket, thank you all.

Hi all my first post as just recently bought a P6 2000 SC, runs beautifully but pretty sure O ring has gone in the head gasket due to good oil leak, is there a particular place recommended for buying spares and good quality gaskets?
