just recently caught pics of p6 2200 with steel electric sunroof, black vinyl roof etc; They all seem to be white in colour. Was this a limited edition? Most P6's having sunfoof would be of the manual operation varity with tudor webasto

On Thursday, 24/02/11, saw blue 3500S in Spondon, Derby. Blue , black box pleat cloth trim , reg RRW292M . Nice car. It always makes me smile when I see a classic car out on the roads. :D :D :D

Is there any buckskin( like a off-white colour) cloth seats in box pleat around. I know there are a couple on ebay but they don't look the "May-West". Considering a 73 TC , but the two front seats are naff. Been tentatively looking for some time , whilst other colours have availble, not so , these.

This is a great piece of nostalgia from the 1970's. To me its more entertaining to watch than the modern racing because the cars had less downforce, (you can see the suspension movement in the cars), the drivers taking different lines in corners, and you tend to see more of the racing anyway ...

Another gearbox Question.-- When they brought out the 2200 cars (1973 ish) the manual gearbox was revised with a slightly longer gear lever , to improve the change. Was this strickly on 2200 cars only, or were the last or the 2000 cars, also registered in 1973 improved by the same change.(...

I've been scanning various ads for cars ,as you do, and noticed P6's with so-called police gearboxes. Can someone please enlighten me to what is a police gearbox.; 1 . What is the difference between it and the standard manual box? 2. Was it fitted to V8 cars only, and (presumably) to police...

Saw a lovely looking P6 3500S , what looked to be Cameron green, S wheel trims and thin whitewall tyres, in Bristol today (12/11/10), driving down Fishponds Road about 1130am (ish). Brightened up the morning , what was otherwise very dreary weather.

On Tuesday 14/09/2010 at 9pm there is a new tv programme called the Young Ones. (nothing to do with the comedy from the 1980's) . It features older celebs re-living 1975. The "other arf"(good girl as she is) pointed out to me there was a P6 featured in the advertising trailer......anybodys car???

The Talago that's recently being sold, as picked up on the ebay section , has had a full write up in the latest (July) edition of Classic and Sportscar. Should be in shops by weekend if not already. It has the Jaguar @75 feature on front cover. The Talago article on page 114.
