I created this spreadsheet a while ago to help with calculating valve clearances on the 4 cylinder P6 engine.
The ZIP file contains an Excel spreadsheet. You can use it in excel or import it into google sheets to use for your car.
Fill in the current valve clearences and shim heights in the green cells, the spreadsheet will automatically calculate the correct combined shim heights for each valve in the light blue cells at the bottom of the table. I also included the correct camshaft cap removal sequence.
