Nice easy question for you all. Is there any point in replacing my knackered starter motor ('73 3500S) with a high torque one? A recon will work out to be a fair bit cheaper than a high torque unit but I'm wondering if there is any pay off in using a high torque starter.

I'm based in Surrey, so chesire is a fair way from chesire! RustBuster are based in Lincolnshire which is abit closer,but i wonder if there are any places down south i can take the car to get treated?

Im thinking of using Rustbuster products on my car as I am planning on applying a resh layer of underseal to my '73 3500S
my question is, are Rustbuster products any good? some people say they are amazing, others say I should use shutz, so im not sure what to go for! if anyone else...
Im going to remove the underseal on my 3500S and apply a fresh coating of rust protection
Will i need 1 ltr cans or will 500ml cans be enough to do the whole car?
also, how do i remove the outer sills? I want to check the condition of the inner sills

are there any companies in the south east I can go to if my car needs any work doing? The car is kept in West Sussex and there's only one guy around here who can do any work to it, the car will soon be moving to Surrey so I want to try and find out if there are any people in the south east/west...
I ordered a new brake light switch and servo breather for my 3500S, can anyone tell me how i fit them?
any help would be great as im doing the london to brighton run on sunday!

Seems to be a common problem with P6's, but the brake lights are up the swanee. They work when i put the headlights on so could it be the brake light switch thats faulty? Am i right in thinking this is located under the brake servo? Or could it be a fuse? A wiring diagram eould be handy...

My 3500S has accumilated some surface rust on the outer sills and various other places. The underseal is also coming away in places and in terrified of it getting muxh worse!
My question is, whats the best method of tackling surface rust? I read somewhere that using a wire brush can...
