Just to add. The paint codes were in one of the back issues of P6 News, but can't remember how long ago. Brenda will sent the codes to Deborah again to publish in this months P6 News if she has room. Paul ;)

Hi Nick. The paint code you require is referance GL 28775. Mexico Brown. Rover used this from 1970 through to 1975. The paint was supplied by a company called Ault Wiborg. Your paint shop should be able to trace this. Hope this helps. Paul. :D

Also have just checked on the club data dase and we have a total of 364 P6's registered. Unfortunatly it does not say if they are factory fitted as the owner's of the cars only say that they have a sunroof. I can only asume that a very small portion of these are actually factory fitted. ...

Why is then Rover never offered wire wheels as an option extra for teh Rover 3500. I dont know why Jaguar can get away with them, maybe they are built different?. I am only repeating what i have read and been told by a P6 specialist. Paul.

Just a word of warning. Not to be a kill joy but the power of the 3500 engine, well the power it puts out that is, is too great for the wire wheels. You would most likely see them disintergrate. Rover never produced "wires" for the 3500 only the 2000. Also another word of warning. Check...

Malcolm. Why go tothe troubleofdrilling the holes ( okay thats how they were originally fitted) but why not use double sided tape thats used to fit number plates and other things as fitted to " modern" cars. I think it would be much easier. Paul ;)
