Being in Oz I have no idea what BIVA is....? I think 2-doors really benefit from a lower roofline I reckon.....

Yes, but the country will be skint, and BIVA's are a nice little earner for DVLA
It's a UK vehicle test for cars that have been modified away from standard in certain specific ways.

You solved the issue in your earlier post when you said 'I started this project more than 30 years ago and then it stalled'
A historic vehicle is allowed in its current form if it has not been modified in the last 30 years.
So all you need to do now is not declare the car is MOT exempt and keep an MOT on it and enjoy !

I saw an XJ6 that had been shortened that the modified driver's door closed into the corner where the rear door used to close.
ETA: A quick Google revealed it, too!

So close to perfect - I think they may have gone too far with the shortening - or maybe it's just the roof is too high. Looks great though!

Not too sure on this one. The wheels look out of proportion, perhaps with a smaller rim or lower profile rubber and then lowering it may look better.

You're right. I reckon drop it 2 inches and use 45/50 series rubber would improve it.

That short Jag needs to be put out of its misery.
We could, but how would we have got that P5B subframe down there? That roof sized hole was perfect for the job!
