Not a bad attempt. I remember Wood and Pickett did an interior conversion as an option on a new SD1 back in the day, and it wasn't quite as attractive as this one. To look at it was dredful, with a sort of arch effect :shock:

I quite like the idea of both dash's. The Wood and Picket one is better executed (unsurprisingly!) but would be better without the curved top. The "amateur" job is let down by the poor execution of the ends. Might even be worth taking the best elements of both...

I've driven SD1s in the past & think it would be difficult to see over the top of the W&P dashboard, unless you are very long / tall in the body! :? You tend to sit quite low in them.
