Hey guys,

Does anyone know of anywhere I can get copies of the rover works race cars from and rear bubble wings? Does anyone know what they originally used or were they bespoke sheet metal? I would like some info on this as I plan to copy one!
What about the british company who made a replica not long back, it looked identical, wonder where they got their panels from or whether they made them?

Anyone any idea?!

They made their own - their normal line of work is prepping Aston Martin LeMans racers.....

As far as I know the originals were bespoke as well - this was 1969! If you're very serious indeed about a perfect copy I might be able to introduce you to the real thing...

I was hoping someone would say they were made from GRP moods so I could get some! I would have thought even in '69 they would have considered it for weight.

If I made some I would certainly be reproducing the panels in GRP front and rear.

Seeing the real thing would be amazing but I don't know how I'd replicate the panels. I'd need hundreds of photos to do it I think.

I need as many pics of the racers as possible if you guys have any.
