Wiring diagram errors?

Apologies if this is old news. Looking at diagram on sheet 5 of 86.00.01 in AKM3621, for RHD Chassis D 3500, and chassis C 3500S, S2. In the key both 34 and 45 are listed as Ballast resistor, and 34 is adjacent the Rheostat for instrument lighting. It also implies that coil negative line goes to the tacho and all the way back to the dizzy? Sheet 6 implies the same re the tacho feed.
Sheet 7 is for RHD 3500 from chassis E and 3500S from chassis D S2 - has the same error with 34 and 45 both ballast resistor, 34 on the diagram should be 37 for tacho. This diagram shows 2 leads from coil negative, one going to dizzy, the other to the tacho, which makes better sense than sheets 5 & 6.
Sheet 8 shows ballast resistor at 45 and 30, where 30 is actually next to the Rheostat again.Cant see what 30 really is on other diagrams for S2,

Surely the tacho on vehicles up to Suffix D/C uses current sensing & needs the ignition wire to loop to the tacho. & back whereas the Suffix E/D onwards is voltage sensed & just needs a single feed to it from the coil .
