Hi, i think everything electric works on my car , but for finishing the interior i have not connected behind the centerconsole:
2 brown/green wires.
2 big brown/white wires
2 big white wires.
I don't know if it is requested for connecting this wires, somebody an idia?
thanks Hans.

And if it is,it will have the strip speedo,as should the manual SC as well!
Those wires IIRC are for the optional tacho, and clock pod that can be fitted!
No too hard to get for a RHD car,but a bit rarer for a LHD car.
But well worth fitting as it gives a nicer look IMHO!

Pilkie, is that the "magic peg" on your choke control?! My car has one of those, in yellow! Without it, my car will not function..

Cheers

Hi James.
Well spotted!!
It was on Connor the 2000sc auto I had for a while last year!
Everything else was working after it came out after its 17yrs of hibernation,so I had to resort to the special tool found in the glovebox!

Yes it is an automatic , the 2 wires bleu/white and yellow/white are connected to the chokewarninglight switch, but the others i don't know.
When i have ignitionswith on i messure 12Volts on the 2 brown/green wires.
On the big brown i have no power , and with a "peeper" i have earth ( -)
I was thinking i can used those wires for the radio, but when i did it the car don't start , fuse broken and problem with the relais under the bonnet.
I have no strip speedo.

It could be an inline ballast resistor circuit?
Are any of the wires joined together or are they just ends with nowhere to go!
Havent had my dash out for a while,so not sure, now we know its the std round dial assembly.

The wires are both in a original double connector.
It is not behind the desk but behind the radio speaker.

I think you'll find Brown/Green is for the reversing light wires, which join up behind the console.
