Why is fuel coming out of this?

Hello Guys,

Engine and gearbox in (2200sc auto) so delighted!!!

Not so delighted about the fuel coming out of the carb from the bit pictured.

Any ideas??

Fuel spilling out means the chamber is flooding and the likely cause is dirt/grit in the float valve preventing it from closing properly,
It's also possible that the float itself is punctured,

Spot on!! Load of crud on float valve stopping it shutting. Running well now, onto bleeding the brakes and sorting out air leak from servo next.......
