white series 2 on ebay

No, but I may be going to see it for a customer shortly.

The description says it's had new underlay. That would point to some rot either having been dealt with or been covered up.

Cheers
Nick

is it a pukka 72?

Can't see much to suggest it's not. The seats are correct for an early 'S'. The wood fillets in the doors aren't but that means nothing.
They have managed to avoid showing anything too useful in the pictures. No front interior shot, no engine bay!
They have a few details wrong too. Paint is 'Davos' white, interior is not Huntsman, it's buckskin. The roof is Huntsman. Rostyles aren't export only. etc, etc....

im a newcomer to p6,,i thought a k plate would have flat pleat,,
makes the boxpleat in mine seem more appealing seeing another one with it in,

Boxpleat was first introduced in the UK exclusively on the 3500S manual from it's introduction, mostly in vinyl to keep the cost of the car down. It was introduced to the other models a bit later, probably late '73. Certainly all P6s had box pleat by '74 season.
Also, the US spec 3500S auto had box pleat throughout it's production. ('69-'71)

I wouldn't like to make any comments about the condition of this car unless I saw it in the flesh. The photos are far too small and could well be covering a multitude of sins. :|
