Hi all,
after months in storage my white Rover finally got it's big day out at the end of August to provide transport for a wedding. Due to the pressures of work and life in general I'd have little time to spend time with the cars. Unfortunately I could only find time to get one out so fellow forum member and friend Noel O'Connell came to the rescue with his series 1 3500 and P6 ROC regional organiser Tony Hanby also joined us with his Lunar Grey 3500S. Luckily, Noel's son Cormac also took my car and spend over a week of his school holidays doing some touching up, including polishing and painting the wheel trims, painting the rims, the stone chipped front valance and generally bringing the car up to standard. This was a god send as unfortunately I was busy working and planning the wedding, as it was my own!! Great to see some one so young taking an active interest in P6s. Luckily he is far more patent than me so the standard of his prep work was way ahead of anything I could have achieved myself, so the car looked fantastic on the day. Luckily all the cars behaved as well, and after some initial rain that trapped Lynn in the car outside the church for 10 minutes, everything went smoothly .
Not a good start to the day, the heavens opened as Lynn arrived in Noel's 3500.
Finally, a break to get into the church.
Noel's 3500 putting my 3500S to shame
My new wife and I with my 3500S.
All lined up outside the hotel.
Noel's Son Cormac hard at work in the Irish summer weather.
Regards,
Dave
