Have not seen his friendly face about for a few weeks now. Does anyone know if anything is up or is he just off on holidays?

I am still about!
Not long started a new temp full time job,which hopefully will turn out to be permanent by the end of the year!
Also was a bit poorly with a Very nasty bout of diverticulitis,Or commonly called I B S,which is still nagging at me!
I wont go into details,"Too much info"
But suffice to say my prostate is ok and I am waiting on an appointment with a long video camera! :|
I am also booked in on 14th Oct for an operation on my left hand bent fingers,dupytrens contracture.
Hope to get 1 more event in the weekend before,as I will not be able to drive for a bit.
Hope to be able to get to Stoneleigh for the resto show though!
Maybe we can have an informal forum meet at the RP6C stand at lunchtime!
 
Good to hear that you're about Pilkie, sounds like you have been in the wars a bit though.

A p/t job with a company that I like,cropped up in june,and due to staff changes,its now temp full time,and should develop into a permanent full time position by the end of the year. :)
And with luck this will be a job I keep for the rest of my working years! :D
Am going to continue with classics as my spare/leisure time hobby not as a full time venture.
 
on the forum meetup sounds like a plan. Havent got my timetable sorted yet but i hope to go...

It is a driving,delivering job,but the deliveries are organised and timed jointly by me and the warehouse manager!!
5 deliveries may take all day due to the unload time often required,and last week I had a 5hr round trip to the south coast for 1 delivery.

Well I got my urgent colonoscopy referral appointment that means I should be seen before the 16th Oct,or within 2 weeks of doctor sending it in! :)

Its for 8th Jan 2014! :roll:

Typical NHS cock up I hope!

Will have to ring them up on monday to get to the bottom of it so to speak!! :LOL:
 
More than enough on there already to look at without mine!
Will just limit the video to the forum instead! :LOL:
 
The words "cock up " and " colonoscopy " do not go well together
When I had mine the nurse said it's quite normal to pass wind afterwards so I thought I'd better oblige..
 
Its not the passing wind after they have pumped your bowel up with air for the examination I worry about! :)
Its the strong stuff they give you beforehand to totally clear your bowels out! :|

It will certainly clear you out. Make sure the bathroom is available for your exclusive use once you have taken the stuff.
 
Forgot about that .You feel your stomach rumble and the toilet had better be vacant ...
Nice empty feeling afterwards though
