What was the price when new?

Hi all,
am taking the TC to the Biggin Hill festival of Flight in June and was going to put an info sheet in the car window
Does anybody have any idea what my car would have cost new
Series 1 1968 zircon blue 200O TC with leather interior. I know the car was supplied to its original owner by Henlys garage W1

According to James Taylor's book in June 1968 a 2000TC would be £1535 8s 4d.
In December 68 it rose to £1568 19s 2d.
 
My 2000TC came out of Gidea Park Motors in Essex a year earlier, invoice date 1st August 67.
It was fairly well specified with Fog Lights, Fire Extinguisher, GB plate, Roof Aerial, Heated Rear Window and"Secret Switch".
Supplied with a full tank of petrol the invoice total was £1493 17s 4d.
The List Price without extras was £1415 5s 2d so prices rose quite a bit during that following year.
