What gearbox for 3.5 v8 5 speed conversion?

There seem to be quite a few types of LT77 & R380 gearboxes. Whats the one to look for?
I'm already assuming the gearbox crossmember will be in the wrong place and I'll need a different length propshaft but what about the bellhousing, starter, clutch etc?
Any info or advice gratefully received - my 4 speed box is 40 years old and sooner or later is going to need replacing so I thought I'd start collecting the bits now.

Hi, I am presuming this is for the trike. The flywheel and starter will be OK, the clutch centre
plate is 23 spline compared with 10 spline for the 'S', clutch size is the same. Prop length will
be different. the 380 is mainly fitted in TVR's and is priced accordingly  For the LT77
You will have to pay about £200 to £250 for the box, £80 to £100 for the bellhousing and about
£25 for the gear lever extension. Don't be tempted by Land rover/Discovery 4x4 boxes because
although they may be cheaper, the input shaft, mainshaft and bellhousing are all different. Plus
they come with a transfer box. So unless you are going 3x3 :) They are not worth getting.

Hope this helps.
