Waterless coolant

Going to do a coolant flush this weekend, anyone any experience of waterless coolant? Gimmic or worth the money?

Thanks in advance.

Depends. It's not a gimmick but there is some question of converting engines that have had water in them, both in terms of getting the water out and surface corrosion inside the jackets.

It definitely does work, even though the coolant will actually be hotter because glycol has less heat capacity than water. The important bits are being well cooled though.

I'm going to do my motorcycle this winter.
