The brief I have is that..." It started life as Silver Birch over mid blue (forget the correct colour scheme name!...
About 25 years ago, he repainted it... Burnt Grey over Silver Birch."
About 2 years ago, he thought he would have a bit of a knee's up with it.
As a result, it now has a supercharged 4.0 Rover V8, and a 6 speed auto. "Man, can this thing fly! It drives s-o-o-o-o nicely too,
tight as a drum...so many little attentions to detail things he's done."
...Ivory colored instruments...they should have done 'em like that in
the 1st place. The longer you look, the more you see he's done! Concealed
wiring in engine bay, lovely sound system,...even chrome door snib's,
instead of factory black plastic ones.......and man, this thing
screams!.....couldn't wipe the cheesy grin off me face for an hour after a
test drive"
Thanks to Chris Giblin

I suspect you would need to win Lotto to afford that sort of makeover either from scratch or to purchase fully done. Truly I am blown away by that car.

My kind of P5b!
Are there any videos?
Interesting that they decided to retain the dizzy, it would have been simpler with some space there. However it doesn't look quite as tight as I thought it would with the supercharger snout/top hose.
Supercharged script nicely matches the coupe badge too :D
It looks like an M90 Eaton..I've read they're meant to be good upto 5 litres
However when I was researching for the 4.6, the M112 was the most appropriate.

Very tidy. I have seen the ivory dials before. I bought an ammeter that I came across & hoped to find more of the set at some point, though I never did.
I assume the loss of the door pockets covers wiring....etc, for the windows & added assortments.

How is his health? many other close relatives? has he got a current will is he a philanthropist....... you can see where this going cant you  .....
