Wanted - Window wind mechanism

Is there anyone out their in P6 land that has a spare drivers front door window winder mechanism.Ive got a car that has had elecric window winders put in and the owner has thrown away the original winder.Ive got every other door winder apart from the one i need.Unless you can swap them round,ie driver to passenger door.Plus a have a Series 1 for sale if anyone interested.PM only of course
 
HI JOHN, I am fairly sure I have a d/s window winder. I was going to beaulieau today, but its hissing down!! so I am going to have a good sort out instead. ie;stuff for keeping,and stuff for selling at an autojumble or on ebay. what were the electric motors used from ? do/did they work ok? I was thinking of fitting some to the front on mine, I have got 2 good xj6 chrome switches to fit, but I was wondering which motors are best to adapt??? i've got my tyres sorted!!!! Dunlop SP sport 200s 195/70 VR x 14 ,4 tyres, fitted, valve, bal,all for only £150!!!! :D .....dave
 
HI DAVE.The electric window mechs are a universal fitment.A friend of mine used some on a Triumph Spitfire.They worked for a while on my Rover but keep packing up thats why im reverting back to good old manual ones.You have come up trumps with the tyres by the way.I know that they retail for about £95 each usually.
