Im looking for a P6, any model, any colour, any year. BUT it must be in exc, or showroom condition. either fully restored or original and looked after, no bodgy resprays full of filler thanks. Must be under 50.000 miles, and pref one owner. Up to £6000 waiting for the right car. What do you have?
Please contact me at dat240@msn.com, or on 01622 816855.
Don.

Yep, had a browse but cant see anything I fancy at the moment, hoping that someone may come forward soon, I want something within a few weeks really.
I have seen a nice car for sale at Percival Motor Company, 3500 auto, i green, only done 10,000 miles, and is in real lovely condition, but priced slightly out of reach at £6995.00, and i dont think there is much room for negotiation on the price. Also it has the brown leather, when I really like the cream colour.
Fussy? Me? Nooooo.

Look at my post " P6 worth 20% more..." You could phone Baileys Kingston Rd London SW20 0208 540 8180 0208 542 6666. Car was previously £5K ,30K miles looks good Cameron Green V8 auto. Suspect it's been in the showroom for years ,I saw it with the brake master cylinder half empty so budget for some rear calipers
Let me know what you think if you go there. I guess you are in Maidstone so not too far away

Have you seen this one?

its up for £6500, but they might take an offer, and it is a tax free '72. Phone first as its in Bicester, an couple of hours from Maidstone (where I live too) but its almost worth the drive just to browse the sheds. When I visited, if I'd had ten grand in the trouser pocket I'd have been hard pushed to choose!

Good luck with the search

That does look nice!, seems to have leather seats instead of Ambla as they look to be the 'horseshoe' pattern as fitted to early S's before they introduced 'boxpleat' leather (IIRC).

It's also got 'ET' front headrests too, but not power steering seemingly.

'Spotter moment' over! :D

Zoomed in a bit... and it looked like it had the standard steering wheel rather than the early polished spoked 'S' one for PS.

Thank you chaps,
I have been several tips on cars for sale via my email, but keep them coming please. Spoken to a few chaps, and its nearly make my mind up time. Interesting replies thanks.

can anyone tell me, would a 1971 2000 auto, have Power steering, as i would prefer it, (weedy biceps) or did the PS come in later ?
also does anyone have a link showing corsica blue? i cant find one, and dont know what the colour is like. thanks.
Don.

Power Steering was unfortunately only fitted to the V8 cars from the factory.
Though some 4-cyl cars have been converted in the past.

Brilliant guys, thanke, great site.
OH NO;

Ive seen waht I really want, and its AVACADO.

What a colour, PLEEEEZE, DO ANY OF YOU KNOW OF A REAL NICE P6 IN THIS COLOUR FOR SALE. OR do you know who owns one in good order that I can twist his/her arm.

PERFICK. Just bought my P6.
1973 2000TC. Only 37000 odd miles from new, in all original condition, (looney Grey), how can they call that grey, its green isnt it? has had a cosy life. AND I love it. drives lovely. Im gonna treat her to a major service and overhaul in the next couple of weeks, change all the oils and fluids etc. Then start the engine clean, and get out that polish.:)
