Wanted, dash panel

hi
new member and already in trouble, had to remove the panel that sits under the instrument cluster, warped all over the place, it was hidden with a rubber mat when I bought the P6, thought I may be able to warm it up and flatten it, some hope. also managed to snap the formica fitting at the back.
anyone got anything in good nick for sale?
regards
Brian

1972 2000 P6

right members, I had a call from moon river great guy, very helpful, wish he lived a lot nearer to myself, supplied me with the required bits at a good price as well.
But replacing the dash panel, bloody hell whats that all about. what are all these hidden screws behind steering wheel and rubber strips on fascia.
Remove instrument/ speedo panel?? spaghetti junction ?? I've seen less wires in a telephone exchange.
At the moment I have managed to break the rope while trying to hang myself, so will have another go tomorrow at locating the dash behind the steering column panel
Will buy a stronger rope just in case

New member again folks, I have an original workshop manual for the 1972 P6 2000, but it does not have a wiring diagram ?? only a rough sketch, of the back of the instrument panel. I have never come across this before, have I a duff manual?
so if anyone can help out here, with a diagram copy, I will pay any expense of course
I notice the ign warning light shows a yellow wire going to the l/h side, I do not have a yellow wire, so was there a change sometime
I will be back

SC's have an oblong ribbon speedo,TC has a 5 dial round instument cluster!

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum. Where are you based in the country. The reason that I ask is that we have members of the forum all over the country and we are a sociable lot as you may have noticed. We may have someone close by who may be able to pop round and assist you. Have you joined one of the clubs yet as they are also a help.

Good luck

Hi Stephen
Thanks for the email, I managed to sort out the elects. and get the dash back it situ, the yellow wire turned out to be dark brown???
My passenger seat middle pleat has started to come undone, having removed the seat, (bloody heavy). Once it is sewn up, is there a good leather cleaner and preserver known to members.
I also have a few cracks in the leather is there a filler of some sort?
I live in Thurrock Essex, near the River Thames
Happy new year to all

Brian
