Hi

I am selling my vanden plas 1300 but will be looking for a rover p6 afterwards, or if anyone was interested in a swap

its a 1972 vdp 1300 will have 1 years mot

will upload pics or can e mail them

My first car was a Morris 1300. I always wanted a Vanden plas . good luck I think you will sell that easy enough

Ricky, a rough location and pics or a better description might help a sale. i.e. colour, auto/manual, nearest town, mileage etc.

John.

Would I have to buy a plaid blanket, a knitted tissue box cover and crocheted antimacassars' for the seat backs......?
If my Mk1 Escort wasn't turning into a bank account buster, maybe

car has full mot and road tax

will be cleaned up and wheel trims put on

Ah! So you are a car dealer then! Hence the trade plates!
I cant understand why when I view the pics in a better size by clicking on them they are upside down?

I've got trade plates but I'm not a car dealer....

I thought that was just me....

well to assume i am dealer is rather unfair because the plates actually belong to my work so i am not a dealer

and as if this would make a difference to the sale of the vehicle

That explains them!
But you have had a few cars to sell very recently,so, 2 and 2 make 6!
It wouldnt make a difference persay, but I for one would want to know if a person selling is a dealer or not!
An avid hobby restorer and dabbler is different, just very lucky that your job has its benefits!
Apologies if I assumed wrongly!
Good luck!

i have had quite a gap between doing cars up recently, i like to dabble and sort old cars and once i have sorted them i kind of loose some of the interest in them but i like to have a varied choice of car or uncommon old cars, but now i have a 3 week old son i will not have the time to dabble as much so i am looking for a car that requires little to know work and one that would last a good few years so i can maybe have my son grow up around older cars, so the cars i would like to have and keep would be a p6 or i liked my old dolomite

Thats a very smart car you have.
Are you after a v8 or the 2200 /2000 .model.
Im guessing by your name your wanting the v8.
Marcus.

thanks very much

the 2 p6s ive had have been v8s so i havent driven any other engine in a p6, ive read the 2200tc drives better than the v8s but as long as the car was ok i wouldnt mind

Hi i ve driven and owned a v8 and 2200sc . I ve driven a 2200 tc.
But to be honest i think the 2200 tc beats the v8 .
But the 2200sc is ok but not quite the power of the 2200 tc.
But v8s i think are easier to pick up than a good 2200 tc.
Marcus
