V8 Fuel Pipe

Hi all,

Would anyone have spare a decent flexible fuel pipe - the one that runs from the engine bay reserve tap across the bell housing to the steel fuel pipe?

I've tried Ian, but unfortunately he doesn't have one.

hey stan i used on mine copper pipe and that done the job on i used it right round from the tap to the electric pump at the front

Stan, if you can find any NOS pipes with the union already fitted, you can use 8mm rubber fuel line from a motor factors. It will grip the barbed union fitting on the end of the reserve tap with a clip and will also slide over the steel pipe on top of the bell housing too.

It's got to be better than that garden hose pipe on there currently.

Hi Paul,

If I end up having to lower the engine back again to give a bit more room to get at the bellhousing bolts there's the likelihood the head will catch any clip that's fitted at the reserve tap end, so I'd be happier having the original fitment.
 
Update: Wins can't oblige either.

Nobody breaking a V8 at the moment they could unpick one from? Got a message in to a guy on ebay who is, but no reply as yet.
