v8 brake pedal ????????????

my money is on the wrong master cylinder I rebuilt it with a new kit theres nothing wrong or stopping the piston travel, the rod I made was apx 4mm longer and it's a full threaded rod so well and truly adjustable, I now know why when I bought this car the brake pedal although working was only 3 inches of the floor someone adjusted it along while ago due to the lack of travel issues I will leave the pedal in the correct position I cant see what they thought they gained by putting the pedal so low, if it works ok then i'll leave it we'll see, thank you Harvey for your much needed help and advice mate :D
 
well I finished the front calipers and made a few new brake pipes today I've bled the system and all is well with the master cylinder and recon front brakes now I have to recon the rears, I ended up using the master cylinder that came of as it's doing the job, thanks again harvey
 
i'll get it up on the ramp and check to see whats happening if I can get away with cleaning and freeing of with a new set of pads thrown in then i'll be happy with that, but we'll see. :D
