Twin Brake Boosters

Over on the "Cars Spotted" thread, there is a 1970 2000TC fitted with twin brake boosters (servos). Was this normal on all cars or for certain markets only? Was this a dual line system? I can't recall ever seeing a Rover locally with twin boosters.

Mostly USA market 2000s from 1968 on. I believe it may have made it to some European markets too but Rover didn't like it, and it complicated matters greatly. The US 3500S also had a dual circuit braking system but not the twin boosters.

The Federal system is in essence from the contemporary E-type and XJ6. Jaguar anticipated in that way much more to the demands of the American market and therefore had to make far less alterations to their basic design (up until the rubber bumper nonsens, imagine that on a P6  ) The bumpers were standard wrap-around on the series 1 models and you could see the anti-glare measures easily in the interior were Rover had to redesign their parcel shelf mat and ashtrays.

OT ; I've got a picture of a Mexico Brown 2200 TC with beige (Herringbone?) cloth and Sundym, so maybe one could identify it's year.
