I am currently looking for a torsion bar for my 1969 Rover P6 SWD 464 G , been restoring slowly for 10 years or so
and the rear end has sagged recently , need to do something before the MOT due, can anyon advise a non
mechanically minded p6 owner?

The back end of the car is on coil springs which are likely to have sagged with age
Wins etc should have replacements

Thank you for your detailed response to my question Dave , it is appreciated, and gives me some idea
of cost . I am booked into the Peaks and Dales classic run in June so trying to get it sorted by then? best regards

I didnt even notice until I carried a portly person in the rear and the tyres rubbed the wings!!!! cheers for your help Will

Hi are you running anything other than standard wheels ? As most will rub the D post without jacking it out :?:

thanks for that, but normal size wheels on the car , was thinking
of putting minilites style rims but apparently they can cause probs- cheers Phil
