Tip for installing weber carburettors

I installed a weber 500 carb in my car a few years ago and ended creating a bit of a lash up to operate the throttle via a cable. It involved a bicycle brake adjuster screwed to the end of throttle arm and the end of the inner cable being screwed to the side of the chassis leg.

While stripping the heater box off a 4 cylinder car I discovered the perfect solution to the problem: The rocker arm and throttle cable from a TC (maybe SC as well but i've never seen one)

It's going to save me a lot of hassle as I'd intended to fabricate a similar arrangement but this is far neater and is even original Rover.

Hope this will help anyone thinking of changing to the weber500 (or holley etc) as like me if you've never looked under the bonnet of a boring old 4cyl car you wouldn't know ;)
