Hello,
My throttle linkage to the single SU carb on my 2200 engine is slightly worn.
On slow cruising it is difficult to maintain a steady, small gas flow.
The plastic muffler between carb and gas pedal kaboudle is held by 2 split pins, but
together they provide at least 5 degrees play on the throttle linkage.
Have you any tricks how to remove that play, so that every tiny movement on the gas pedal is
instantly and directly received by the carb?
Also, where the gas pedal link penetrates the bulk head is a big hole,
normally covered by some rubber grommet.
Do you have a spare to trade?
Many thanks,
Bandito.
