Hi Mike
Let me introduce myself. I’m Ian Edwards, car-nut and volunteer radio presenter with local community radio station GTFM which is based in Pontypridd, South Wales. I present a motoring “magazine” show called “Driver’s Seat” on the first Thursday of every month.
Recently whilst chatting to Matt Wright (Editor of Britain’s best selling classic car magazine – Practical Classics), I asked if PC staffers could come up with a list of 10 of the “Greatest Practical Classic Cars of All Time” and listed below are the ten chosen classics’:
Morris Minor
Ford Capri
Triumph Herald/Vitesse
Barkas B1000 (with thanks to Mr Sam Glover….)
Austin 7
Saab 95
Mini
Citroen DS Safari
Rover P6
Volvo Amazon
But which do you think is the greatest of the ten?
To vote, E-Mail me your choice to ianedwardsmini25@btinternet.com (and reason, if you like) no later than this Wednesday by 7pm. And if you could forward this email onto anyone else who you feel would also be interested in voting, then that would be great.
And don’t forget to listen in to “Driver’s Seat on GTFM (107.9 FM in the Pontypridd area, or on line at www.gtfm.co.uk) this Thursday between 7 & 8 to see if your choice is the top of the heap.
