How does a guy from the north east corner of the mid western portion of the United States find out how to put back on the road one slightly used, non running, non shifting, non electrically working 1968 2000 TC? Well, he searches online, finds The Classic Rover Forum, joins, and posts. Within 24 hours, he gets several replies to his issues, which puts him well on the way to putting an old English Bulldog back on the street in the United States, where they are pretty much rarer than hen's teeth!

Wonderful group of people, and I wanted to say thank you, and that I am happy to have come across this site. Should anyone want to see a photo of my project, see my posting under the gearbox section.

Hope to keep posting as she comes together. Again, many thanks to you all!

It's surprising how the 'net' and modern technology makes the world seem a small place, isn't it. It's often hard to imagine that others are thousands of miles away.

Thanks for the feedback, that's exactly what the forum is for, we have a great group of users with immense levels of knowledge, especially when you put it all together, and of course we all just want to see more old Rovers out on the road !
