Well since buying my first ever p6 I have replaced the servo, brake master, steering box, one calliper, all brake pads, new stainless hoses, a new bearing for the steering, gear selector bushes, and tyres, and I thought I'd bought a good one lol. There is still a long list of other jobs to complete but I am at last driving the car on a daily basis. I couldn't have achieved this without the help and advice of people here e.g Harvey, Chris and many others. I must admit the thought came to mind on a few occasions, "what have I done buying a 34 year old car for my daily driver".

Now that I have my daily driver I am sooooo enjoying the whole driving experience. OK I am not the fastest car tearing down the top chester road every morning, but I believe I am the happiest driver :). The P6 is everything I remembered it to be and more. I have owned many classic cars but this is my favourite.

So I really just wanted to say a massive thank you to all who have given me advice, and free parts ( window winder clips, owners book - you know who you are), I may have given up if it were not for your time :)

I suppose I should also thank my wife who doesn't visit this forum, but she's been a real star, never moaning whenever I've said, "I'll need you car today"
"why"
"er, mines off the road today"
"ok"

So once again THANK YOU

Excellent to see another P6 on the road and being used daily.

Glad we could be of assistance (not that I did much ! )

One of the (many) things I get from P6 ownership is the great camaraderie both at a local level & through the club & this forum.

I hope you enjoy your P6 as much as I enjoy mine. You can see below how many miles I've done in them. I've only been stuck twice  (...shouldn't have said that should I ?) :D
