I had seen this photo of Steve McQueen with his Mini Cooper S in Hollywood before, but only noticed today that there is a car in the background that looks very like a P6? Am I right?

I think it looks like it. Do you have a bigger picture? (I tried enlarging it but not very sharp.)
 
The clear indicator lens and bumper overrider points to that being a Federal 2000 TC in my mind. Can't work out the colour.
How badly bent is that bumper though?! :eek:

The photo was taken outside the bodyshop in Hollywood where the Mini was modified, so the Rover was probably in for repairs
 
The front wheels on that Mini would be illegal in the UK as they protrude outside the wheel arch.
