STEERING WHEEL WANTED

Hi Mike, thanks for pointing me to the ebay item.
It maybe what i am after, i shall whatch how this goes and see what happens.
The only concern i have is that this one has a complete leather covering and i have not seen one done like this before? i like things to be as original as possible, but thanks again.

I've seen them with the struts covered like that before. I have it in my mind that the autos were like that from the factory, the manuals having the struts on show, but I may have dreamt that...

This is an original wheel which came with and without the leather in the centre and I believe if you remove the leather on the cross bars you can polish up the metal, this is probably what you have seen but this wheel is definitely as Rover intended. Most steering wheels would have had the leather removed at some point due to it getting scruffy and worn.
