Not going to see these parking lot buds together every day.....or indeed basically ever. If I had space I would buy it (the Special); a great Rovernerd collection piece in my view.

The Buick is a nice car, but the NADA P6 is in a whole different league.
I really like the blacked out grille and matching black trim across the front of the bonnet. Looks the business!

Especially the chunky NADA mount that’s horribly stodgy in my view, so I got the holes filled when the bumper was rechromed. So its not going back on.
The 215 engined Special is quite rare,

I hadn't noticed the lack of a front number plate, but yes, now that you mention it, that contributes a lot to the tidy look of the front of the red Rover. I like the tiny little white on black number plates I've seen on some old Italian cars, barely bigger than a cigarette packet.
Top marks from me for filling the superfluous holes in the bumper when you got it re-chromed.
At some point I hope to be able to afford a pair of new stainless bumpers for my car, and hopefully I can get some without the holes for the rear number plate light, which I think really spoils the look of the back of these cars. I hope to figure out a way to back-light the rear plate so that the silver letters illuminate against a black background.

I have a S/Steel rear bumper, fitted to replace the one mangled by a truck. Good quality and understood they are by an Italian firm.
They could be made to order, so ordering without light assembly holes could be an option - Graham, at Penguin Motors can confirm supplier

I thought the stainless bumpers came from Vietnam, or Thailand...?? Wherever, as long as they're well made!
I read somewhere that they come without the holes for the number plate lamp, which would suit me just fine.
Thanks for the tip, @cobraboy. Those LED number plate lights look like a nifty solution!
