Solenoid to Starter motor

Hi,
It's been a long long time since I last posted on this great forum. Due to lock down and the shark's tooth being garaged too far away from home, 2020 has been year of no progress.
Still, motivation is here and I encountered last weekend the following problem :
With a new battery in place and distributor cap off and leads off (I am still in the process of bringing the engine back to life after 30 years hibernation, yet it is not seized and first thing to do I suppose is to prime the oil pump after having carefully poured some oil in all 4 plug holes) , turning the ignition key to ON has no effect at all. Connecting the battery with a jump lead directly to the contact of starter motor on the solenoid (for easier access) actuates the starter motor and I can see the radiator fan moving as well the distributor finger rotating.

The outcome seems clear : the solenoid does not work! I guess it is not repairable and thus I am in need of one.

Your comments of diagnosis as well as how/where to source a solenoid will be very welcome.

PS : for reference, it is an LHD 08/1964 early model

Thanks!
