Simple question - where to buy (water) temp sender?

Hi all,

I phoned my local motor factor, but they didn't have anything in stock for this.

Can anyone suggest somewhere that might sell a sender for a V8 3500. It has an Edelbrock manifold fitted, but I doubt that would make much difference (I'd assume the aftermarket manifold would have the same screwthread)?

I'm very new to owning a British car, so no idea where would be a good place for parts.

I was thinking of phoning Halfords after Christmas to see if they can supply one :shock:

Sometimes you are lucky with the factors, but mainly you will rely on the specialists and Ebay. There are three main specialists, Ian Wilson at Rover-Classics, Wynnes and JRW - all listed in the links in the main part of this website. A number of specialists supply only through Ebay - look at the classic car spares - Rover section for a vast supply of P6 bits.

I'll order the couple of parts I need after Christmas. I hadn't noticed the suppliers section of the website before :oops: - I clearly should have taken a bit longer to look around the site.
