Series 2 V8 tachometer needed

None of the V8 rev counters in my/our stash seem to work.

I need a working tachometer for a Series 2 3500.

I can pay ££ or swap a tested, good 4-pot tachometer.

Could that be because you're running electronic ignition which not all tachos will work with?

We are still using old fashioned ignition. The needle on the original tachometer is sticky/stiff from being outside for a couple of years with no windscreen in the car.
