All,
I was chatting tonight with "Pilkies Classic Carnuts" and Forum member Dave Roan (Bigmoose on here) when he popped round to sort through some of his P6 stash that I'm storing for him. We were talking about seating capacity and what we are insured for. We were sure that it would say something on the V5 - which I'm sure back in the dim and distant past it used to say "4", but my current and previous V5 have the seating capacity blank.
Essentially, I have fitted rear seatbelts, and also put a lap-belt in the middle which would allow for 3 sitting in the back.
But ..... anyone know what the insurance position is on this? When the car was built, it was certainly sold as a 4 seater (although growing up, I was always the one in the middle in the back). But if it's not on the V5 - how are we supposed to know what it is today??
Interested in your opinions.....
Thanks,
Brian.
