SD1 V8 resto

Sorry, but I think the SD1 has a number of similarities to the England Football team in the last world cup. Full of promise, some fanatstic qualities, but fundamentally a disappointing failure.

The SD1, like an overweight girlfriend or a moped, great fun until your mates find out!!
Have you had a change of heart since posting the above? :p

I've always wondered whether you could fit a P6 de dion to an SD1. It already has the front pick up point for the diff extension care of that peculiar torque tube arrangement. I'd hate to see you being lauded by your SD1 colleagues after all the "disagreements" you've had with them previously TP! Something will have to be outrageous about your SD1!

Chris,

The "condition unimportant" usually means he's after a donor..

I was about to say, he won't be after an SD1 just to get the engine, must be a lot more engines available out of cars already than in SD1's

Nice stripped out SD1 will make a great fun track car, just like back in the touring car days.

Gentleman, before you wield your handbags, I am after one for a pal, who wants one to build a track day car.
I can't believe you hang about with someone who likes 'em

I know a guy who may very well be selling a good running 2000 (Ayrshire), he does want it broken though. might be easier to do that and source the V8 bits.

My Vitesse auto is for sale but it is in Glasgow and looking for £2,000-£2,500 runs great but could do with some paint.
