Sd1 studs

Hi
Does anyone know where i can buy SD1 wheel studs so i can put my vitesse alloys on my P6. Ive allready replaced the bearing caps. Rimmer bros have quoted over £120 for new ones of these. Thats a lot in my mind just for 20 studs. Or does anyone know if other cars studs fit! Its only an M12 stud afterall. Any info would be much appriciated. Or does anybody have any i can buy?

I know all of this as i painstakingly found all this out first hand lol.
Bottom line is i need SD1 studs. I'll try this MR T chap and see what he says. Meanwhile if anyone knows where i can buy a set without more than the alloys themselves, or if anyone has studs to sell me please get in touch.

Hi, Wheel studs for Fords are the same from what I understand. -

take one of your studs out and measure the diameter of the hole in the hub to make sure
the splined part is OK. Then measure the length, if you want longer ones they are also
available on Ebay. The price for standard Ford ones are a quarter of the price, longer ones
are about half.

Ok just a quick update.
I used ford Capri studs as i had a old pair of Capri front legs lying around the garage. They are an exact fit although the rover studs had more splines the ford ones still went in nice and tight. I think they make their own grooves as they go in the hubs.
All that messing around and i had the studs all along!!!
I thought id share my findings to help others.
