Hot from my events diary: The elements defying first event of the season down South has been confirmed as being on Sunday 26th February 2012:

The sixth start-of season RSR event at Whitewebbs Museum, Whitewebbs Road, Enfield, Middlesex, EN2 9HW.

Come rain or shine, start the season with this now traditional informal gathering at the fascinating Whitewebbs Museum. Last year's meeting saw Rovers from 1934-2003 - all models and conditions are welcome. We start at 10am and finish by 4pm. For details of the museum and directions see the web site http://www.whitewebbsmuseum.co.uk. RSR contact is John Bedford: johnrobertbedford@gmail.com

I should add, after being asked - this is a free event and all are welcome (not just RSR members!)

Cheers
Nick

By hook or by crook........

less than 1mile from me...........

Hi all,
Some off the local lads and myself will be meeting up in Mcdonalds bullsmoor lane at 8.30 am for breakfast to convoy down to whitewebbs for around 9ish to grab a good spot. So thought I would post an open invitation to anyone else who is intrested in joining us. Hoping for a great turn out and a lovely day too.

I'm certainly going, and I know Dave3066 is also, subject to him taxing his car.

We're coming up on the Saturday night, so should be there bright and early :eek:

See you there folks.

Guy
Heather and I are coming up the night before and may well be able to make the breakfast meet up. Where's the McDonalds - not the A10 end of the lane?

NIck and anyone else that needs to know here are some simple directions;
When you come of the M25 junction 25 you head towards Enfield/London on the A10 be sure to be on the inside lane to turn left onto the filter lane onto Bullsmoor Lane (it is no more than 200 yards from the M25 roundabout) as you turn onto Bullsmoor Lane you will see Mcdonalds on your right about 50 yards from the lights.

Breakfast/Coffee optional if I'm feeling flush may even buy the early birds a coffee :shock:

Really looking forward to Sunday and meeting up with new and old Roverites :D
